THE SITUATION / WHO I AM

My name is Chris Sanders, I'm 26 years old and I'm a nerd. I love anime, videogames, hip-hop, t-shirts, Domo-Kun, podcasts, Japanese culture, reading blogs, HTML5 and message boards. I am a working graphic designer and youtuber. I graduated from college in 2007 and owe about $53,000 dollars in student loans. I hate this debt and hate how it limit's my lifestyle choices. Loans are easily my largest bill each month and I want to DESTROY them...HARD. Like really, really, really, really HARD. Like STEELIX Hard.

DEEP THOUGHT

I came to the conclusion that the only logical thing I could do to dig myself out of this hole is to stick my head in a cardboard box...

THIS IS "THE BOX" aka MY STUDIO....

Impressive, I know. And yes that's a sock. I'm not explaining anything else. LOL. Considering my lack of funds for a good mic or studio, I had to improvise, okay! Someone said I could get good sound this way....although I definitely watched Lil Wayne's documentary last year and he had a mic in the middle of his living room and didn't need a sock or insulation or anything, but then again that mic was probably thousands of dollars. Mine cost 15 dollars.

I GOTS DREAMS, MAN

I'd like to be a father. I want to visit Japan. I'd like to place my money in investments or save up to purchase a home. However with more than 2 of my checks a month going to my & my wife's student loans, all of these aspirations feel impossible. In December 2010, my monthly loan payments increased by 180 dollars. I called Salliemae to work something out. After hours on the phone we realized there was nothing I could do to decrease my payments, and any move I made would only increase the amount owed on my principal balance. That was the last straw.
